
NCIS star Pauley Perrette has paid tribute to iconic actress and screen legend Betty White following her de@th this week at the age of 99.
Talk show host, sitcom star and comedy great Betty passed away just 17 days before her 100th birthday on New Year’s Eve this week. Many of her friends and colleagues have been taking to social media to celebrate her decades-spanning career, including NCIS star Pauley Perrette, who took to Twitter with a heartfelt post on Friday.
Pauley included a number of photos of herself with Betty in her touching eulogy to the late TV star.
She began her post: “Oh #BettyWhite I love you.
“Thank you for being such a good role model for me. Thank you for being a friend.”
Betty didn’t share the screen with Pauley during her run on NCIS, but they nevertheless became friends outside the world of showbiz.

As well as her illustrious television career, Betty was also a well-known animal rights advocate.
The TV stars both worked closely with the American Humane Hero Dog Awards, which celebrates heroic dogs in fields such as guidance and hearing and search and rescue.
In 2012, they presented together at the Second Annual Hero Dog Awards along with other celebs Denise Richards, Joey Lawrence, Naomi Judd, Whoopi Goldberg, and Kristin Chenoweth.
Speaking to David Letterman in 2013, she said: “It’s always me and Betty White. We’re, like, together all the time.”
